Welcome to New Colony Diner
Hello to you all.
It’s with fantastic pride that I share some advice in my private life, and the way Colony Diner is now what it is now.
Once I was 15 years old, I got on a plane headed to America without understanding a word of English, any formula of a strategy about what I would do once I landed, and all of the hope on the planet. I abandoned my parents and dwelling in Turkey to live the American dream, and as I have discovered, the American dream has to be got. I’ve navigated every component of the cafe chain, really starting in the very base and gradually but surely working my way upward.
The hours were long; the job was tough. However, my time in this place laid the basis of my devotion and devotion to culinary client service which now, defines who I am. My very first job gave me time and expertise I had to understand English, respect American culture, and create a passion for food.
The next step on my Viking battle was Pop’s Family Restaurant at Milford, CT, in which I labored for a proud seven decades. It had been Pop’s where I mastered the craft of cooking, became familiar with the notion of a family organization, and discovered the meaning of hospitality.
Back in 1999, I Purchased the classic Miss Washington Diner at New Britain, CT.. Possessing this original diner opened my eyes into the real world of industry performance. My company prospered for a wonderful five years until I decided I had to work nearer to my growing family in the center of Wallingford, CT..
And so in 2004, I took the jump to start the flourishing business that my clients and friends know now as Colony Diner & Restaurant. For decades running, Colony Diner has obtained 1st Place for Best Diner from the Record Journal. We’ve also been known by NBC Connecticut. My staff, my loved ones, and I are proud that Colony Diner will offer the ideal dining experience we know just how. Colony Diner is where folks go to eat good good at acceptable rates, get exceptional support, and revel in a cozy, family atmosphere.
This is where my kids once conducted around to play with, and in which they now work together with their parents. It’s how I gained recognition and acceptance within my area. It is the way I return to all my neighbors in Wallingford who supply so many products and services for my loved ones and I on a daily basis.
Reflecting on my life experiences, I am whole-heartedly thankful for the opportunities which come my way. With hard work, motivation, and dedication, anything could be possible in this gorgeous nation. America is my property. Wallingford is my property.
To individuals that are new to Colony Diner, you may always find me round the restaurant, occasionally conversing with all the clients I am pleased to call my friends and occasionally cooking the cuisine you come to appreciate. I invite you to present yourself, so I can welcome you to my desk.
